I am an experienced professional seeking admission to graduate
school and a career as a Christian counselor for families, women, and children. My background includes working with adults
and children with disabilities as a tutor, educational coach, and advocate. I have also worked in private and public schools
as a volunteer and paid employee for special needs children, providing respite care, developing appropriate educational programs,
and coordinating services. As the Executive Director of the Greater Oak Harbor
Chamber of Commerce, I spent many hours in the community working with other organizations and agencies as a volunteer serving
on Boards and lending my services and expertise wherever possible. One of the projects I am most proud of was playing an instrumental
role in developing The Neutral Zone, a youth-oriented place
offering a fun and safe environment for teenagers to meet with friends, meet new people, and learn new things. It is a place
